Agency partners to deliver new data practice

A partnership between a marketing services specialist and a data marketing specialist is behind the launch of a new data practice.

Gyro Wave is the outcome of a link between GyroHSR and Blueberry Wave and wil offer data and analytics services.

By combining their skills sets and resources, the new practice will be able to deliver data planning and consultancy through to technical data design and database hosting. Client research by Gyro HSR in 2009 showed an increased demand for effective use of customer and prospect data.

Richard Mabbott, head of strategic planning at GyroHSR, says: “From a market perspective, we are seeing an increasingly data-centric future and we want to be in the strongest possible position to capitalise on this for our clients. This partnership compliments our existing planning expertise in CRM, loyalty and digital communications and Blueberry Wave were the perfect fit for us to realise our ambitions in this area.”

Pamela Bath, planning director, Blueberry Wave, adds: “Just being able to capture and store data is not enough. Our customers need to be able to see the picture of their customers that it paints and to ensure that as their marketing needs develop their data strategy does too.”
