All we are saying, is give sleep a chance

It’s not often the Diary sympathises with hippies, but this is one of those times. In 1969, John Lennon and Yoko Ono staged a “bed-in”, in a protest against the Vietnam War. In 2003, someone else has been staging a bed-in. Look. Here they are.

Perhaps these people are drawing attention to repressive regimes in the southern states of the former Soviet Union? Or maybe the stunt is part of the campaign against Dubya’s visit to London?

No. It’s a PR exercise for Olbas for Children, and it’s supposed to demonstrate that, because Olbas for Children will clear your kids’ noses, you can all get a good night’s sleep.

Not if the Diary can help it. “Peace and love” stops here.
