Apprentice star launches health and beauty range

Reality television star Tim Campbell has launched a new health and beauty range in his role as project director at Amstrad.

Campbell emerged victorious on hit BBC2 show The Apprentice, which pitted contestants against each other to win a job at Sir Alan Sugar’s company.

He has been working at Amstrad for a year and this week launched the Integra Face Care system, which comprises a battery-powered electronic appliance and two specially developed skin applications.

The appliance passes a small electronic current through the skin, causing the facial muscles to tense and relax in quick succession, and has been designed to improve circulation and skin tone. The skin products include Skin Sculpture, an exfoliant, and Hydrovitality, a moisturiser.

The launch will be supported by a targeted press campaign and through a “sales system” called the Sir Alan Sugar Enterprise Scheme (SASES). The system, which Amstrad claims is unique, allows consumers to log onto the Integra website, where they have to purchase the product. Once the product has been purchased, consumers are given a unique ID that they then pass on to their contacts.

When a new customer signs up using that ID, the original customer earns a commission on the sale.
