Arena BLM rebrands as Arena Media

Media planning and buying agency Arena BLM is rebranding as Arena Media, with immediate effect.

The rebrand aims to align the UK operation of the Arena Media Network with its overseas counterparts. The agency works with clients including the COI, Domino’s Pizza, Legal & General, Mirror Group, ESPN, Tesco Personal Finance, Thomas Cook and T-Mobile. It is currently re-pitching for the Thomas Cook business.

The Havas owned media agency will replace its existing logo with a new Arena Media logo, which will include the strapline “People, Passion, Performance”. Havas acquired the agency, known as BLM, in January 2008.

Arena Media says its brand promise will be “media performance transformed into business profit”. Digital agency BLM Quantum will also be renamed as Arena Quantum.

Steve Booth, chief executive officer of Arena Media, says: “We are positioning ourselves for the next phase of our development. The industry faces an even more competitive future and Havas has given us the resources to grow and firmly establish ourselves as an innovator and leader in the media business.

“Going forward, our business structure, services and success are built on four key principles: entrepreneurial spirit with global scale; a unique balance of integration and specialist expertise; a creative blend of consumer led planning and rigorous data analytics; and senior people alongside every piece of business.”
