Audi’s brand boss on how he is streamlining marketing
On a mission to recharge the Audi brand to deliver a sustainable future, head of brand, digital business and customer experience Sven Schuwirth is confident he has the recipe for success.
Audi is undergoing a transformation. From streamlining its marketing and redefining its agency relationships to leading the way in electric vehicles, the German car-maker is aiming to redefine luxury for a sustainable era.
This is no small feat, but Audi’s head of brand, digital business and customer experience, Sven Schuwirth, is confident that the company is more than up for the challenge.
“We are Audi. We invented things like the moon space frame and several other gamechanging technologies in the industry. We are not the first on electric models, but let’s do it in a better way and in the Audi way, and simply go for it,” he states.
The better way has seen Audi set ambitious targets. It has pledged that by 2025 40% of all new Audi vehicles will electrified and vehicle-specific carbon emissions will be cut by 30%, while ensuring that all of its operations are carbon-neutral by no later than 2050.
