Audi wraps landmarks in new campaign

Audi is wrapping 80 landmark buildings as part of a massive outdoor campaign to promote its new A8 luxury saloon. The largest of the sites chosen is Clear Channel Billboards’ Fort Dunlop site in Birmingham, which at 135 x 25 metres is the biggest permanent banner site in Europe. A total of 140 locations will feature a campaign created by Bartle Bogle Hegarty for Audi which will run for a month. The campaign continues to use Audi’s longstanding strapline of Vorsprung durch Technik, and will be supported by national television, cinema and press advertising. The cars will also be prominently displayed at railway stations and airports. The Audi A8 features lightweight aluminium construction, four-wheel drive and petrol or diesel V8 engines. Media planning was by Posterscope.
