Bennetts takes TT races headline sponsorship

Bennetts, the motorbike insurance company, has signed a deal to become the headline sponsor for the Isle of Man TT races.

The deal gives the insurance company the naming rights to the event’s superbike race, sponsorship rights of radio broadcasts and advertising rights around the TT tower and grandstand and perimeter. The company also has rights to the use of the TT logo in all its marketing.

Paul Philips, motorsport manager for the Isle of Man Government, says: “Commercial partners are the lifeblood of the TT races as they help fund the running of the event. This prestigious sponsorship confirms that the TT represents a viable proposition for brands and companies.”

The race is now in its centenary year and will be held at the end of May.

Organisers have also signed an exclusive global rights agreement with Suzuki GB that will see the Japanese motoring giant build and sell the official limited edition TT centenary machines at this year’s event.
