Harry Parmar, UK commercial director, has also left the electricals group. Neither are expected to be directly replaced.

Their departures follow the shock exit of European CEO Scott Wheway, head of online DeVere Forster and Paul Antoniadis, branded operations chief who have all left Best Buy in the past six months.

The mass exodus of directors has fuelled speculation that Best Buy’s European venture has fallen flat.

The chain is predicted to report £55m losses this year.

Wheway left last week and was replaced by Andrew Harrison, the chief operating officer of the European business partnership with Carphone Warehouse.

Forster left in January, just two months after its online platform launched. He was replaced by services director Matt Kelleher.

Antoniadis left just three months after Best Buy opened its first European store in Thurrock, Essex.
