Blighty signs tourist board marketing partnerships

Blighty, the recently rebranded UKTV channel celebrating all things British, has signed marketing partnerships with VisitEngland and Northern Ireland Tourist Broad.

The VisitEngland deal will see the launch of ads promoting the channel as part of the tourist board’s newspaper supplements, websites and e-newsletters.

Both tourist boards will have exposure on Blighty’s website, through brand integration into its Short Breaks section, quiz and via promotions in its e-newsletters.

In a different deal, Blighty has also teamed up with Antler, the luxury travel luggage company, for a campaign themed on “April Showers”, offering Blighty-branded umbrellas.

The promotion runs across 57 House of Fraser department stores and a selection of independent retail outlets nationwide.
