Bose sponsors online music show

Bose, the audio equipment company, has signed a deal with Pod3.tv to sponsor its online music show. The deal follows a growing trend towards online product placements.

Under the agreement, Bose will promote its L1 model II portable line array system. The show will feature Seventies band Cockney Rebel, who will use the equipment in their live performance. The Cockney Rebel show will be recorded in late June and will be available for free download from pod3.tv.

On May 19 Bebo, which has been heavily involved in using product placements in its online programmes, unveiled the line up of sponsors for its interactive reality show, The Gap Year. Sony PSP, Trident, Canon, The Royal Airforce, Acuvue, Doritos, STA Travel and Tourism Australia and Tourism Auckland are all lined up to appear in the show.
