Carlton Screen Advertising (CSA) will become the first cinema contractor to sponsor the London Film Festival trailers. The trailers include rising British stars Lesley Sharp of The Full Monty and Ewen Bremner of Trainspotting, and will be shown before all of the festival’s 300 films. The trailers will also be shown across the country to promote the event, which runs from November 5 to 19. The five spots were shot by London Film and Theatre student Ruth Meehan, and are based on people’s reactions in cinemas as they watch movies. Carlton Screen Advertising managing director Adam Poulter says: ‘We are proud to support Europe’s largest non-competitive celebration of film.’ The festival opens with the British film Little Voice, which stars Michael Caine and Ewan McGregor.
