Britvic gives Tradewind digital task

Britvic has appointed Tradewind to handle its digital strategy. It is part of the soft drinks company’s push to bolster its digital activity.

The agency won the business following an informal pitch process against a number of undisclosed digital consultancies. There was no incumbent on the account.

Tradewind, an independent digital consultancy, will work with Britvic to help implement a new, two-year digital strategy across its portfolio of brands, including Pepsi, Tango and Robinsons.

The agency will work with Britvic digital manager Denise Meek, and will start with the development of a digital training programme for the company’s brand managers. Tradewind will also provide digital consultancy services across the business.

Meek says it is working on implementing a strategy that will drive digital integration across the business.

Last month, Britvic launched a major integrated campaign for Tango created by Bartle Bogle Hegarty. The “Save Tango” campaign included TV, outdoor, an interactive website, social media, PR and experiential activity. .

The drinks company has seen positive results this year with a 29% increase in sales for the 12 months to September 28.
