…But where to draw the line?

Sticking with Grey London – well, it’s autumn, so the colour’s apt – the agency seems to have decided that its building should cease to reflect its name.

Unable to find the agency’s grey, post-war office building last week, the Diary was forced to ask a passer-by, who pointed silently at a bizarre edifice at the top of Great Portland Street.

Further investigations revealed that the redesign is part of the London Design Festival, and is the brainchild of Central St Martin’s College student Chris Lam.

The Diary is rather taken with the idea of making offices more interesting, so if you’re visiting Marketing Week in October, it’s the upside-down building with the caterpillar tracks.
