Cadbury launches dancing eyebrow ad

Cadbury is launching the follow-up to the Gorilla and Dairy Milk Airport Truck TV ads with a new spot featuring children with dancing eyebrows. The ad will screen for the first time after Celebrity Big Brother at 9:45pm tomorrow night (January 23).

The execution is the third in the Half Full Productions series from Fallon. It will run for 60 seconds and will feature the children, a brother and sister duo, mischievously eyebrow jigging to the soundtrack of ‘Don’t Stop the Rock’ by electro-funk act, Freestyle.

The spot opens with the siblings posing for a professional family portrait, before they are tempted into the mischievous behaviour. The ads will run until March on TV and will break in cinemas from next month.

Cadbury marketing director Phil Rumbol says the new ad continues the theme of “losing yourself in the moment” of the previous two ads in the series.

The confectionery brand has also teamed-up with online photo site Photobox so people inspired by the ad can upload photos of themselves and their “comedy” eyebrows for free.
