Capital Radio promotes Vaughan and Van Outens reunion

Capital Radio is launching a new campaign to support the reunion of presenting duo Johnny Vaughan and Denise Van Outen on February 4. The poster campaign will break on January 28.

The ads, which have been created in house, show the pair, who had a successful stint presenting Channel 4’s Big Breakfast, standing back-to-back and looking relaxed. It aims to highlight their natural chemistry.

The campaign will run across backlit 48 and 96 sheet sites and 350 portrait panels for two weeks. David Andrews, marketing director at the GCap Media-owned station, says that it is an initial campaign that aims to drive listeners to tune into the show and that further campaigns will build on it over the year.
