Whether it’s exploring the opportunities of secondments or booking a one-way flight to Mexico, marketers are feeling the benefit of taking time out from corporate life.
At the start of 2022, Rory McEntee booked a one-way flight to Mexico and walked away from the “best job” he had ever had.
McEntee had worked as brand and marketing director at fitness company Gymbox since April 2018. It was a job he loved, but a combination of six-day workweeks during Covid and a milestone birthday approaching meant he was keen to step away and take a break.
