Alison Dow is understood to be returning to the Burton Group to head the marketing department at Burton Menswear only weeks after resigning as head of marketing at Debenhams.
Dow and her successor, Richard Campbell, will in effect swap roles at the Burton Group, which includes fashion chains Top Shop, Principles, Burton Menswear and Debenhams department stores.
A spokesman from the Burton Group says it is not ready to make an announcement on the moves.
Campbell left Burton Menswear last Friday and will take over as head of marketing at Debenhams next week.
Dow, who previously worked at Selfridges, resigned from Burton Menswear last month (MW September1) to “pursue other interests”, according to the group.
She worked closely with ad agency TBWA in developing a relaunch campaign for Debenhams.
