CityAMCareers.com will act as an information and advertisement hub for recruiters and job seekers from the newspaper’s target audience of professionals in the banking, finance, legal and IT industries.

The site will be supported by its weekly careers section every Thursday in the print edition of City AM.

Launch advertising partners will include Barclays, Ernst & Young and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

The project is headed up by Ben Walker, who has more than 15 years of experience holding senior roles at a number of recruitment and headhunting firms.

Jens Torpe, City AM chief executive, says: “[CityAMCareers.com] provides a new platform for our advertisers to reach our high-earning and very professional audience and we are delighted to be supported by several highly influential partners at launch.”

City AM has a certified distribution of 92,879, according to the Audit Bureau of Circulation. Its closest rival the Financial Times, which retails for £2.50, had an average net circulation of 333,771 in December.
