Dennis, a regular on shows such as Mock the Week and Have I Got News for You, and long-time on-screen partner of fellow comedian Steve Punt, worked at Unilever for 6 years following his graduation from Cambridge University. He gained strategic marketing experience on Unilever brands including Lynx and Mentadent.

Fellow directors of the start-up are Andy Wakefield, creative director, who has broad experience on not-for-profit brands such as National Children’s Homes and Cancer Research UK, and managing director Dean Hodgetts, who is also owner and managing director of marketing agency Alchemy.

The Help Agency is based on what it claims is a new way of doing business and says it will work in partnership with clients and will share half its profits, in the form of donations, at the end of each financial year.

A video outlining the agency’s aims and objectives has been voiced by Dennis.
