Corgi appoints Rave to promote Harry Potter toys

Toy company Corgi has appointed marketing services agency Rave Communications to create a television campaign for a new range of Harry Potter toys and merchandise.

It is understood that the company spoke to a number of undisclosed agencies before appointing Rave although it is not clear if it held a pitch. Corgi has previously worked with Rave on a project basis.

Corgi’s new range of products has been developed to support the next Harry Potter film “The Order of Phoenix”.

Rave will work with Manchester-based Gate Films to produce the campaign, which is scheduled to air between June and November this year.
