Currying favour with innovators

Rather than denigrating Mark Tuppen’s idea the safe transport of in-car curries (MW last week) you should be singing his praises from the rooftops.

You have obviously never experienced the week-long smell of curry pervading the company motor after the better half’s World Rally drive back from the local emporium on the grounds that she “didn’t want it to get cold” in the space of half a mile. No, Mr Tuppen has cracked it as far as I’m concerned. I only hope he has protected his idea adequately as there will be more than one brand manager in the brewing industry eyeing up his product with glassy eyes. If not, they should be. If he needs a hand marketing it – count me in.
