Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries (W&DB) has appointed Rosalind Anna Cuschieri as a non-executive director to strengthen its brand marketing, which includes responsibility for Marston’s and Banks’s.

Cuschieri is currently commercial director of bread specialist Warburtons, a role she will continue to hold alongside her new duties. She has been at the Bolton-based baker for seven years. Prior to that, she held a number of marketing roles at Scottish & Newcastle.

Ralph Findlay, chief executive of W&DB, says: “Her extensive marketing experience will complement our existing strengths and skills, and enable her to make a valuable contribution to our business.”

W&DB is the UK’s largest regional brewer, with total annual sales of 603,000 barrels.

Earlier this month, Delaney Lund Knox Warren & Partners (DLKW) was appointed to handle Marston’s sponsorship of the England and Wales Cricket Board. The agency beat WCRS and previous incumbent Chick Smith Trott in a pitch.
