Davies Little Cowley wins Keycamp account

Davies Little Cowley Fiddes (DLCF) has picked up the £1m advertising account for Keycamp Holidays.

The agency replaces incumbent Summerfield Wilmot Keene & Partners with immediate effect and will handle all aboveand below-the-line work. Keycamp is a camping and mobile home operator offering self-drive holidays to Europe.

The pitch was overseen by the AAR.

Keycamp marketing director Martin Sumners said that the agency will begin working on a press advertising campaign due to break in January and begin a direct mail campaign straight away.

DLCF account director Denise Crane says: “The account is a very good fit with our business and in terms of our approach we came up with a highly targeted and creative strategy to increase bookings in the off season.”

Mark Fiddes is set to leave DLCF where he has been creative partner for three and a half years. He is to join KLP Euro RSCG as the third creative partner alongside Rob McDonald and Steve Walker.

KLP Euro RSCG has picked up a number of major accounts recently including Pepsi, Abbey National and Carling.

KLP Euro RSCG chief executive officer Phil Bourne says: “We are preparing to take the initiative in a market that is being redefined. Mark’s appointment is key to that strategy. As one of the true innovators in direct marketing, he plays at our speed.”
