Engage Business Media, a business-to-business online advertising network and division of Engage, has announced a strategic alliance with Yesmail.com, a leading US specialist in e-mail marketing. The deal, following a similar move by Doubleclick, shows how quickly banner ad experts are moving into the new online ad model of permission marketing. Like Doubleclick, both Engage and Yesmail.com are majority-owned by CMGI.
