Ivillage.co.uk, part-owned by Ivillage.com and Tesco, claims to have leapfrogged longer-established UK rivals to become the top women’s website. New figures compiled by Doubleclick’s DART, show iVillage, which launched last November, had 417,000 unique visitors in March, a 22 per cent increase on February. IVillage rivals Handbag claimed 375,000 users; iCircle (owned by Freeserve) 183,000; BeMe.com 125,500; and Femail.co.uk 92,700 visitors.
