Malcolm Ritchie, former Heinz executive vice-president and president of Heinz Europe, has been named as the new chairman and chief executive of United Biscuits following the departure of Leslie van de Walle. Heinz has appointed Asia Pacific executive vice-president David Williams as Ritchie’s replacement.
