Lego is understood to have shortlisted two advertising agencies to pitch for its media account. The company, which spent £3.6m on advertising for its toys and games division last year, is understood to be looking for an agency to create global campaigns for Lego Media, which develops interactive software, TV programmes, books, magazines and films.

Freequotes.co.uk, a subsidiary of Themutual.net, has acquired all rights to the 238,000-strong database of failed financial website TheStreet.co.uk for £226,000. TheStreet.co.uk ceased trading last month when its US parent pulled the plug.
