Ader

Ader claims to be the first marketplace connecting brands to e-sports influencers on gaming community Twitch. It was launched as a response to the ad blockers intent on avoiding ads online.

By working with influencers to create content rather than bland ads, brands are able to reach the 100 million gamers who use Twitch each month. Three hundred Twitch streamers will be paid by brands to sponsor their products and services while Ader matches the brand to the player and gets a 20% cut for its efforts.

The company is a graduate of startup accelerators MassChallenge, 500 Startups and the Disney Accelerator, and was launched in 2015 by Justin Warden, one of the top Hearthstone e-sports players worldwide. The company told Forbes in 2016 that as a marketplace, “we’re free to source any influencers for the campaigns we run, rather than being tied down to working with a select few like [a ‘multichannel network’] or talent agency”. Clients have included Audi and Star Wars Force Arena.
