With businesses increasingly needing to release software application updates faster, Plutora’s management solution taps into this growing market, providing a platform to manage software releases as companies shift towards digital IT.

The company facilitates this by automating manual processes and providing a single view of releases and associated metrics, such as testing quality. This enables businesses to address quality earlier in the release process and drive down costs.

Plutora was founded in California in 2012 by Sean Hamawi, formerly executive director at professional services company Tenstone, and Dalibor Siroky, founder of Finotaur, a provider of independent management consulting services. In December 2016, the company closed a $13.4m (£10.3m) growth equity investment from Macquarie Capital – the first round of external funding for the company. Plutora has grown revenue organically over 200% year on year since 2013, with large enterprise customers including Barclays, eBay and Dell.
