Research Exchange is a new online marketplace enabling buyers of market research to source, brief and commission research from an authenticated pool of global suppliers.
It is set to shake up the market research world by allowing any agency to pitch for the briefs posted online by brands, potentially giving companies access to niche research specialisms.
With offices in London and Dublin, Research Exchange has a good pedigree; it was founded in 2015 by Richard Waring, the former CEO of Millward Brown in Ireland, and Dan McGuinness, the founder of Dublin-based research agency Catalyst, in conjunction with software developer Greg Connolly.
The company’s offering is designed to cut the money and time buyers and suppliers spend sourcing each other, as well as enabling brands that have not bought market research before to access valuable intelligence and insights.
The company closed a round of seed funding in 2015 with private investors from Europe and the US.
