Dixons Group revamps management line-up

Dixons Group, which owns the Dixons, Currys and PC World electrical retailing chains, has made a series of changes to its senior management following the departure of Nick Lowe, managing director of The Link.

Lowe left two weeks ago to take a position at an electrical retailing chain in New Zealand. His position is to be taken by Trevor Bish-Jones, who has been with the company for four years, most recently as marketing director of Dixons.

That position will be taken by#advertising director Elizabeth Fagan, who will report to Dixons managing director Jonathan Hart. Commercial manager for PC World Clare Askem becomes advertising director across the group, working in the Dixons Group Commercial Services division.

A new position of direct sales and marketing director has been created to oversee direct selling activities. The position will be filled by Ian Ditcham, marketing director for brown goods.
