The Department of Health (DoH) is reviewing the advertising and media planning and buying accounts for its recruitment advertising business.

The pitch is being handled by the COI and the brief focuses on encouraging interest in the social care sector. The successful agencies will work on a new advertising campaign that will break next spring.

Abbott Mead Vickers.BBDO and Manning Gottlieb OMD, Publicis and PHD, Lowe and Experience and incumbents Leo Burnett and Starcom have been shortlisted to pitch for the account.

A DoH spokesman says: “This pitch is the result of our desire to regularly review and refresh our approach.”
