I was interested to read the summary of the Mintel report in Factfile (MW April 29).
My company, Infoplace Group, operates National Lottery kiosks – 90 in fact – across the country. They are indeed top performing outlets as your article suggests, but I am happy to tell you that in fact the average weekly sales are double that quoted.
I suspect that is because the assessment is made on sales per terminal and our kiosks all have two terminals.
