Slow burner
Stress. Anxiety. Physical and mental exhaustion. These are all symptoms of burnout, a problem marketers are sadly becoming all too aware of.
Over the past few years – and more so in recent months – we’ve heard of an increasing number of marketers leaving their jobs and being forced to re-evaluate where they want their careers to go. In many cases it is impacting women, some of whom have the added burden of returning from maternity leave and then juggling childcare and responsibilities on top of the day to day. But burnout is impacting men too.
