Eagle Star has strong message

Sean Brierley’s speculative News Analysis “Eagle Star banks on Air Miles lift-off” (MW September 18) quotes Eagle Star as having “weak adver tising and poor market presence”.

In the year our current campaign has been running, new business is up to 28 per cent compared with the previous 12 months. In addition, I am glad to say consumers’ awareness of Eagle Star as a major insurer remains satisfyingly high.

Weak marketing? Wash your mouth out Sean!
