Budget hotel chain easyHotel has relaunched its website ahead of bold expansion plans for the company. The new site offers a booking system that aims to offer a foundation for its growth from seven hotels to 200 within 10 years.

The business, owned by entrepreneur Stelios Haji-Ioannou, has hotels across the UK and Europe with another with another scheduled to open at Heathrow later this year.

The newly designed site, which has been revamped as part of £150,000 investment, features a three-step booking process, which aims to make the process quicker and far more intuitive for customers.

It has also added more product information, with more images, more detailed hotel information and expanded local services and attractions content as well as Google maps to help with travel plans.

The technology behind both the website and the reservation system are scalable allowing the site to expand with the number of hotels carrying the easyHotels brand.

Calum Russell, easyHotel commercial director, says: “We take 100% of our bookings through the easyHotel.com website and, conscious that the online environment is evolving rapidly, we feel that its critical that we remain at the forefront of best practice.”
