EasyJet has consolidated its £20m pan-European advertising and DM accounts into Publicis London, in a move that has seen Ogilvy Group taken off the roster. It is the first time the budget airline has put the two accounts into one agency.

Publicis was awarded the business following a pitch against Ogilvy and one other undisclosed agency.

Publicis London has previously worked on some above-the-line projects with Publicis Germany. Both offices will now handle the entire account.

Initially, the agency will work on continuing the development of the airline’s “Objects” campaign with new radio and online ads. The airline says it will later focus on “innovating the marketing activity” for the brand.

Ogilvy won the easyJet account in May 2006. In August 2007, Publicis was added to the roster when its German office won parts of the advertising account in Europe.
