Eden Project tasks Havas to build brand partnerships

The Eden Project is looking to expand its brand partnership programme with commercial opportunities that couple sustainability with brand entertainment.

Havas Sports and Entertainment has been appointed as brand and partnership consultant to handle partnership marketing.

It will advise the Cornwall based conservation attraction on partnerships with brands that share its ambition to motivate environmental change.

Eden Project campaigns and communications director Peter Stewart says Eden needs to increase its involvement with commercial partners by building on its “international reputation as a place for individuals to understand their relationship with the natural world”.

The Eden project has previously worked with brands including Mastercard, EDF Energy and The Royal Mail on “The Big Lunch”, a campaign that encouraged a million people to have lunch with their neighbour in a drive to change community behaviour.

Since it opened in 2001, over 11m people have visited the attraction and its bio-dome greenhouses.
