Simons Palmer Denton Clemmow & Johnson has confirmed that differences between the agency and two of its founders – creative directors Chris Palmer and Mark Denton – have been resolved.

Palmer and Denton quit in February 1994 following what has been described by sources as a “very acrimonious” split.

The pair left after an alleged “neglect of duty” and they and the other founding partners – Paul Simons, Simon Clemmow and Carl Johnson – have been involved in complex legal wranglings ever since.

The agency is believed to have paid Palmer and Denton a substantial sum.

The agency is now expected to change its name.
