Energy drink Rhino’s hires SubTV for launch campaign

Austrian energy drink brand, Rhino’s, is launching in the UK and has appointed student television network SUBtv to create ads and organise events for its target audience.

Rhino’s has drinks aimed at both the sports and energy markets. Its energy drinks will come in 250ml regular and sugar-free, ready-to-drink cans as well as four packs. Its sports drink will be sold in a 330ml still, resealable tetra pack to target athletes needing to drink while training.

SUBtv, which reaches 1.7 million 18 to 24 year-olds each week, runs a TV channel broadcasting to 90 universities, along with a website and events throughout the academic year. It will put together a range of ads and promotions for the brand.

Sukhdeep Dillon at Rhino’s UK says: “Rhino’s brand is made with pure, natural Austrian spring water which meets the highest quality standards available and leaves a clean citrus after-taste.”

Rhino’s is currently linked to Formula 1 racing, supporting the Spyker F1 team. As part of the campaign, SUBtv will organise a competition where the winner will spend a day with the team.
