Eurostar in 10m advertising pitch

Eurostar%20trainEurostar is reviewing its advertising agency requirements as the company gears up for its move the UK international terminal to London’s St Pancras station.

The account is held by TBWA/London and the agency intends to repitch for the account thought to be worth up to £10m. The pitch will be overseen by head of UK marketing Greg Nugent.

Last year Eurostar reviewed its media business and moved the account to Vizeum from Manning Gottlieb OMD. The media account is not included in the review. Nugent is a former GlaxoSmithKline healthcare marketer and was appointed in February 2004.

It is not yet clear which other agencies intend to pitch but industry sources point to the new agency Hurrell & Dawson as prime candidates, based on the relationship the client shares with former TBWA/London chairman.
