Fitness First supports Help a London Child

Gym group Fitness First is teaming up with London-based radio station Capital 95.8 to support its Help a London Child (HALC) campaign. The appointment marks Fitness First’s first “charity of the year” signing.
The fitness chain has 58 clubs in the capital and says it wanted to support a London-based charity to make a “longer term difference”.
Throughout the year each London gym will be set a Fitness First Capital Challenge to raise a minimum of £700, achieved through activities including taking part in The BUPA Great Capital Run and local fundraising within each gym.
HALC was founded in 1975 by Lord Attenborough to improve the lives of vulnerable children living in London. The charity specialises in funding grassroots projects and supporting their work.
