Focus fight may fuel porn action

Ford must be waiting with bated breath for the outcome of its court case with German magazine Focus.

The current affairs title is suing the car company for trademark infringement over its Fiesta replacement, also called Focus. Not only is the court case a major spanner in the works for Ford’s German launch plans, but it may spur some other magazine titles – namely Fiesta and Escort – to take similar action.

On the up-side for the British public, if the German magazine wins, at least we won’t get a Ford Loaded or Ford FHM.
