Formula 1 team banks on HSBC

In the cover story, entitled Sponsors on crash course (MW October 16), Midland Bank is included on the list of sponsors for the new Stewart-Ford team. This is incorrect.

Midland Bank is a wholly-owned subsidiary of HSBC Holdings plc and it is HSBC that sponsors the team and whose logo appears on the car.
