GGT Group loses two top managers

GGT Group has lost two of its top executives a month after sealing its 96m acquisition of French agency network BDDP.

Jan Hall, European chief executive, has resigned from the company and leaves in June. Louise Wall, chief executive of GGT’s sales promotion arm Option One, has also resigned. It is understood that GGT is poised to merge Option One with BDDP’s sales promotion house, Tequila.

Hall joined GGT in 1994 from design consultancy Coley Porter Bell, where she was chairman and chief executive.

She says: “I was brought in with a brief to make GGT truly international and it is time to look for something new. After three years at GGT and following the acquisition of BDDP, I feel that my original objectives have been met.” She does not have a new job to go to.

It is thought the merged operation will be headed by Tequila UK chairman and chief executive Tom Wass.
