Harper Collins chooses Addiction
Publishers HarperCollins has appointed advertising and branding agency Addiction London to work across fiction and non-fiction titles in the UK.
Addiction London will be developing strategic campaigns for major book launches in those areas whilst advising the publisher on a longer term strategy to maximise revenue from their stable of authors and titles.
Addiction London won the business after working on a project for the successful Cathy Kelly ‘Once in a lifetime’ campaign. The book is now a number one bestseller and the agency will work on the fiction and non-fcition lists
Harper & Row, as it was then called, was bought by News Corporation in 1987. The worldwide group was formed following News Corp’s 1990 acquisition of William Collins & Sons.
Authors on Harper Collin’s list include Stephen Fry, William Hague and JRR Tolkien.
Addiction has offices in London and New York.
