Charity Care International has appointed online marketing agency Harvest Digital to develop its first comprehensive digital strategy. The charity aims to recruit more monthly donors via the Net to support Care International’s charity work.
The appointment sees Harvest add another charity to its portfolio of clients. It also handles digital campaigns and strategy for Breakthrough Breast Cancer, the Salvation Army and Shelter.
Harvest has produced a variety of creative advertising in multiple formats, including some with video streaming featuring children suffering from hunger and banners with the strapline: “Every five seconds a child dies from hunger. You can stop this. All it takes is a click of your mouse to save a child like Malita from poverty.”
The agency has also built a new site – careforthechild.org.uk – which streams a video of Malita describing how she has benefited from the charity’s support.
The charity works with 48 million people each year to help them combat poverty and uses to provide essentials like food, clean water and education.
