Heart 106.2 FM,…

Heart 106.2 FM, Chrysalis Radio Group’s flagship London station, has been given an overhaul to coincide with its tenth birthday this month. The station’s new logo, which incorporates a heart icon and is designed to give the radio station a contemporary look, has been created by design company BeebySaunders. It will be used in a variety of colours to reflect the broad music values of the station, and aims to reinforce Heart’s move towards becoming more of a lifestyle brand. Heart marketing director Steve Parkinson says: ‘We have decided to take ownership of the heart icon. The design allows us to take the icon in all manner of directions, including using the heart on its own for a new range of merchandise.’
