Heineken global campaign pushes brand’s ‘open-minded’ nature

Heineken will bring the first installment of its global brand campaign to TV and cinema screens after the online video notched up 4 million YouTube hits in three weeks.

The film, created by Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam, is called The Entrance and will be aired around the world from the first quarter of 2011 onwards.

Heineken will use the global campaign to introduce its new universal ’Open your world’ strapline, which will attempt to push the brand as ’worldly, open-minded and confident’.

Creative shows the film’s protagonist making the ultimate party entrance and ending his entrance by performing The Golden Age track with lead singer of The Asteroids GalaxyTour.
