Heinz appoints top marketer for Foodservice division

Heinz Foodservice has appointed Chris Cannon as head of marketing for Heinz Foodservice.

Cannon’s role will be to develop Heinz in the "foodservice" sector by driving product innovation and building closer relationships with customers.

Cannon is experienced in the food industry, having held a management role at Pizza Hut as well as sales roles on Unilever brands such as Ambrosia, Marmite, Knorr, Napolina. His most recent role at Brakes was as marketing manager for the dairy, deli and grocery sectors.

Heinz UK & Ireland Foodservice Director Phil Jones says of the appointment: "Cannon has a strong track record of success and is a passionate marketer with integrity and a determined approach.

"We are delighted to have Chris on board – he will be responsible for leading our brand marketing plans for explosive growth in our foodservice business."
